Introduction

A little bit about me:

Welcome Back! I am SO excited to be starting this new school year at a brand new school! We are going to have an AMAZING year! Here are my "stats", or the answers to the questions most students ask at the beginning of the year:

My first name is Tracy. I have been teaching for 23 years (2nd, 3rd, 4th, & 5th). I have been married to my husband Pat (a teacher at Three Rings Ranch Elementary) for 22 years. We have two children: Jenna, 17 (a senior at Beaumont High) and Owen, 11 (6th grader at San G.). I have a Golden Lab named Darby who is 8 years old, and my family and I live in Cherry Valley. My parents are Bob and Sue, and I have one brother, Rob, who works for the Secret Service in Washington DC (pretty cool!). My favorite colors are blue and black. My favorite food would have to be Mexican food (pretty much all of it), and I love dessert (pie, cake, chocolate)! I also LOVE Starbucks!

My family and I love to travel and go camping whenever we can. I have lived in Colton, Running Springs, Grand Terrace, Banning, and Cherry Valley. I was raised on a farm, and I have lots of great stories to share. Most importantly, I LOVE TEACHING AND KIDS! It is my passion, and I can't imagine doing anything else!

We are going to have a BLAST together this year!

Education:
After graduating from Beaumont High School, I attended California State University San Bernardino where I earned a BA in Liberal Studies and minor in Sociology as well as my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential.  I chose CSUSB because it was close to my home, and it had an excellent teaching program. After a few years of teaching, I went back to school and I earned my Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) certification from The University of California Riverside.  Finally, after several years of teaching, I went back to school to earn my Masters of Science in Educational Leadership from California Baptist University. I have known that I wanted to be a teacher since I was little, and I can’t imagine doing anything else! It is both a passion and a privilege to teach the children who are going to shape our future!
