English Learners Advisory Council
ELAC
The English Language Advisory Council (ELAC) has the following responsibilities:
- Serve as a vehicle for communication between the community and the school or District for the needs of English Learners;
- Inform parents about the programs offered to their children;
- Provide input on the most effective ways to support participation of English Learners in all school activities; and
- Review budget for English Language Learner Program.

Here is a link to some practice test questions you could use to help prepare you for the new ELPAC assessment (replacing the CELDT). The ELPAC will be administered sometime between February and May.
